The client was the Moscow Government, and Mystic created the content for this facade show for 9 May.

Large-scale urban mapping on a building of this size is a discipline of its own. The content is made for the specific architecture of the facade, for its proportions, projections and planes, so that the projection lies evenly and reads from a long distance. An error in geometry is visible instantly and across the whole facade, so the image is built to the exact contours of the building. The studio was responsible for the CG content and the technical implementation – both for the image itself and for making it sit precisely on the facade.

The date of the event is non-negotiable here: a show for 9 May has to be ready for a specific day, with no option to postpone. Mystic produced the content for this hard deadline and for an urban venue in the centre of Moscow, where the show is seen not only by the invited audience but by the whole city. The theme of the 80th anniversary of Victory also sets the bar for substance – on the facade of the main government building there is no room for random choices.
