Moscow Urban Forum 2023
Moscow Urban Forum 2023 at Gostiny Dvor was run by Mystic not as a single installation but as the whole venue at once.
The exhibition was dedicated to healthcare, education and the social sphere, and the studio was responsible for the art direction of the content across the entire space.
The work covered 11 zones. They included the central screen, intros, typographic videos, dashboards and a robot character, and it was all tied together by master templates – a single set of rules and building blocks by which the content of each zone was assembled. It is exactly the templates that keep the venue in one style: eleven different zones read as one project rather than eleven separate ones.
Beyond creating the content and identity, the studio led the management and coordination of the exhibition's entire content direction. This is no longer just production but management: bringing the material across all the zones to a single visual language and schedule.
The scale of the project lies in the role, not only in the volume. Here Mystic acted as the art direction of an entire exhibition: it set the system by which all the zones worked, from the central screen to the dashboards and the robot character, and held them in a single visual key throughout the exhibition.
